Getting Started

As with any medical care approach, patients must be evaluated to ensure they are appropriate for hospice care. Thankfully, this isn’t something you have to do on your own. We encourage you to call our office to talk about what this process looks like and decide whether to move forward. It is our aim to make the decision and process as easy for you as possible. We also encourage you to speak with your doctor about hospice care. Many people unfortunately wait far too long before initiating a first conversation. Hospice care is not only for the final days of life, but can be taken advantage of for several months, so long as the medical eligibility requirements continue to be met.
